Gifted Programs in the City Are Less Diverse

Our comment: A binary “gifted or regular” track perspective is obsolete; education sectors need to be able to accommodate multiple tracks, with dynamic opportunities for advancement or demotion. On the mathematics side we have experienced the need for at least 5 percentile tracks: 0-40, 40-90, 90-98, 98-99.97, and 99.97-100.
